  Lunch at the Pub mid week on Tuesday - virtually empty. Seem to catch the staff when they where having lunch so was a little dis jointed in service, but staff were very friendly once we broke down the barrier of interrupting his lunch. Group had kids and the staff customized some of the orders to suit the kids - which was very helpful. Large garden to the rear, but seems like it was a little bit work in progress... Food was typical pub light lunch food, but better than most (considering we were the only ones there). Was the week after the book festival so may have been still getting over the rush.
